We met Sam & Lynda on Friday just past Pewsey Wharf. We spent the next two days heading off towards Bath. We stopped at Devizes on Saturday night ready for the descent of the flight on Sunday. We moored up at Seend on Sunday evening where Debbie & I treated Sam & Lynda to a birthday meal at the Barge. The original plan was for Debbie & I to continue towards Bath during the next week. However after thinking about it there just wasn't enough time to get back to Stoke Bruerne for the beginning of November. We reversed up through the lock at the Barge Inn and winded before heading East.
During the next 4 days we went up the flight and made it to Kintbury.
