George was born abt 1860 in Cranbrook, Kent. He was the son of Henry & Elizabeth RAND.
On 7-Sep-1879 he married Jemima Bertha BARNARD at St. Stephen's Church, Lewisham, Kent[M-Cert].
He worked in the shop at the flour mill in Lewisham. In the 1901 Census he was shown as the mill manager.
George was forced to leave the flour mill as the dust affected his breathing. He became the manager of The Mitre in Tonbridge.
George & Jemima had 5 children:
He died 11-Nov-1921 in Tonbridge, his estate was divided equally between his 5 children.
